if you’re husband is in the US and you’re going through adjustment of status process filling the I-485 form you should be fine The pause is only for consular process cases (when your spouses are NOT in the US)

My husband isn’t in the US he has an interview coming up at the consular center in my country

@Sali Ouedraogo after a successful interview, officers would give 221g, and say that because of the pause they can't issue the visa at the moment.

if approved he'll be given a 221(g) form. he will have to resubmit his passport for the visa to be printed when the pause is lifted
