Hello brothers, I hope you can explain to me what it means document was returned to uscis.... You must send us a request before 180 p.m. or we will destroy your petition. What does this mean?
On September 7, 2023, the Post Office returned your document to us. We will hold your document for 180 days or until March 5, 2024. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the document to you. If you do not submit an online request by March 5, 2024, we will destroy your document and you will need to file a new Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) I hope someone who understands and knows can help me explain

It probably means they couldn’t deliver the mail to the address provided and you need to submit a request to them to send it again. Check that your address is correctly entered (if you have an online account with uscis) or call them to clarify things!

I sent them an address for confirmation and it was successful. But do they want to mail me something?

they mailed you your approved document but it was delivered because your address changed or was not entered correctly. so post office returned the document to them. so they are asking that you request for the documents be sent to you again. you need to correct or update your mailing address

Yes, of course, I did the address correctly. Now I will wait for what they will send to me in order for the document to arrive

you’ll have to go online and request that they resend your document. after updating your address of course. if your address was correct, I would consider using a family members mailing address if you are having issues receiving mail where you live. keep in mind that until the “alien fiancé” as they call us is a US Citizen you will have to update your address with USCIS everytime you move, within 10 days. otherwise they can start deportation (when you get to the point you’re both residing in the usa)

@rebecca abassy I don’t know. I came here first on a visa and then applied for the green card. I would assume they send letters all over the world 🤷‍♂️
rubeeca abassySep 25, 2023
@khalid alouane are you in the US ? you mean the US address ?

Reading from your response and the way it sounds , I figure you probably don’t understand what it means. let me break it down. According to the timeline you posted, you case has been approved and approval notice or even green card was mailed to you. Your address was not correct or there was error so UPS returned your documents back to USCIS. what USCIS is telling you now is to go online and correct any error in your address or probably provide a new address where they will mail your approval/Greencard. So any address you gave USCIS initially either here in US or outside US needed to be corrected. All the best

I am in Morocco currently. I am in the first stage. We have sent them an address currently. They sent it to us on October 11, 2023. A message will be sent to us about our file. We are now waiting for what will happen. I hope it is good
