haven’t heard back from USCIS YET, we were interviewed on Nov. the status still shows “interview was scheduled” I put in an inquiry through Senator. let’s see what’s the outcome.

s p, did you get the response? I had my interview in December 2020 and tried everything, but today the senator sent an enquiry about my case. I am no hopeful, but it least it is poking the bear

no @done, not done I did not. In March it will be 120 days since my interview. and it’s almost going to be almost 30 days in mid Feb since Senator put in inquiry. if out of processing time I plan to Pursue Writ of Mandamus for my husbands case.

yeah, it has been almost 14 months since my interview, I did not want to sue the government nor spend money on it, but I guess that is the only way to get things moving these days.

@done, not done. I know someone who did it and got approved one day after. writ of mandamus can be expensive but it’s worth a shot. sometimes they deny coz they get irritated 🙂

I have been reading about it and did not see anyone saying they were denied because of it. lawyer's saying they can't deny based on it, they need to have reason. but I don't doubt they do. I have been opening an outside of normal processing times every month. they always say it is pending background check. for the ombudsman it took about 60 days for them to respond and they said they were actively working on my case. my case is from 2017, come on people.
