I have same question but my original passport is expired now I have to apply for travel doc when I receive my travel doc I will travel without original passport? let me know please if someone know thank you 🙏

@Shokhida kh yes you travel with travel document instead of your passport. It is specifically designed for asylees and refugees because we can’t/shouldn’t renew our national passports. You use your travel doc as your passport but unfortunately it’s only valid for 1 year.

I applied for my advance parole last year in April and I didn’t get it yet and I have my g c is pending too

yes i traveled for more than 4 months no i traveded to a country not in travel ban , they didn’t ask me anything, they sent me to a second check and they stamp my passport without any question everything was good jfk airport

@the g yes I have only travel document , I’m applying for gc from may 2024 and still pending, they didn’t ask me why i was away for 4 months,they just stamped my passport and give it to me.
