Thank you @Jay N. I am not sure if the relation level matter. Regarding the document, I think it is important they asked me about it before giving me the appointment and also was the first question from the officer as proof of what I said.

FYI, the officer also asked me about my birth certificate to prove the certificate is for my father

@Mossab my Aunt passed and it’s tradition to be there. i have an obituary but no death certificate. I havw my birth certificate but not hers.

@Jay I am sorry for your loss and may her soul rest in peace. You need to gather some evidence that show the event. I do not know how to provide a connection evidence with your Aunt but try starting the process, or will not harm your application any way, either approved or not

@Mossab Thank you so much! I have an appointment, the only evidence I can think of is an obituary of her death. I was an F1 student before I started this process and so I haven’t been able to go home to Saudi and my parents will be at the funeral and I would like to see them as well. i don’t know if I can just explain or I need solid evidence?
