Happy to help with questions!
Still processing, it’s been a journey! I’m excited to see where we go from here.
COB India
PD Oct 2020
RFE was regarding tax returns, W2, proof of address, marriage proof
I did reach out to my local senator’s office after searching online and they did follow up on my behalf. Response was pretty standard, got the response about 30days after that inquiry. I had done a few inquiries via USCIS phone line before that and got all standard responses.
Happy to help answer questions! all the best folks.

@Eb1 C my went from NBC to non-local field office then to NBC when case went pending then it moved to my local field office before being approved

@Jorge Alberto I’m not sure. My spouse is also a H1B holder and was a dependent on my case. I moved from Canada after spending 1.5 years there before applying.

@kay r I’m Indian and my wife is Chinese. She was current when they put our case under pending. I raised an inquiry with Uscis and they didn’t respond. I used that to then request Senator’s office to have USCIS take a second look. Senator’s office surprisingly did exactly the same and got a response back from local field office. I believe this inquiry moved the case from NBC to our local field office.

@G V did you try this number? +1 (800) 375-5283. I would google getting Uscis to pick my call and see instruction videos. Many videos out there to help you to say things to the automated tool to get someone to actually pick up.
