Yes, H4 was approved separately. H4 was applied for in October 2020 and approved in July 2021. H4 EAD was applied for in December 2020 and approved in September 2021.

@Sri S, my receipt date was December 21, 2020 and Vermont SC. I'm not sure if Vermont and California are moving at a similar pace though

How did you follow up with USCIS? I called and did live chat, they didn’t even answer.
