Just got approved for I-485 today! over the moon right now and can’t believe it!! Thankful to the community here! I enjoy reading everyone’s experiences and it really helped me a lot!

@xyz def no I never got that update regarding transfer. I found out regarding the transfer from Emma agents and it was transferred from NBC to Indianapolis FO on 29th march. so after that it took about a month to get approved.
also, afaik, you only get case was transferred message in the following cases:
your case is transferred to NBC
your case is transferred to TSC
your case is transferred to Nebraska service Center
your case is transferred to California service Center
I think all other FOs are considered local ones and you don’t get any notifications for those in your case updates

hi @xyz def I’m on a same boat like you. my case is at San Jose FO. I have the same status like yours case was transfer for over a month

@xyz def I think Nebraska service Center and Texas service Center send all applications for I-485 to NBC first and then NBC sends them to other FOs.
found this on the page that has case processing times:
After the underlying approval of a Form I-140 petition, the Texas Service Center and the Nebraska Service Center, with limited exceptions, send employment-based Form I-485 applications to the National Benefits Center.
