Greencard approved 2 days after receiving the EAD!
the journey is over!!! it’s a weird feeling once approved, it’s like as though not much has changed but really it has! i can’t believe it!! thank you to this community for all the tips and advice given here.

congrats. Good to know your case has ended positively. It’s actually faster than mine. My submission is June 10. Fingerprint taken on Sep 29. Still nothing as of now. Perhaps GC through marriage takes a longer time. Does anyone know?

i got a reciept date of 10/13 for i485J. hopefully i get approval soon. filed it end of may with NBC

what i am noticing is that once you get 485j recipt ur gc is in hand with in 40 days from NBC...... which means if ur case is employer bases and it has no issues nbc doesn't fwrd ur case to fo and process the whole case and approve it at their facility
