@v d- its down to USCIS shutting down due to coronavirus, then dates for India Eb1 becoming current overnight and then lack of visas as in any year maximum visas alloted to a country is only 7%.. every year 140k visas are allocated for employment based applications in total… so a combination of factors

Roy Mehta .. we have a very similar timelines .. interviewed at Chicago FO in sept and nothing since then .. so do u think since we are past the deadline and there is unavailability of visas is why there is a delay ? I got my ead and ap though ..

yes it is current . . I got my ead and ap combo and had my interview as well.. I wasn’t told anything on the spot .. just that we will reach out if we need anything .. since then radio silence.. the window is past processing time for Chicago FO as well ..

@s p- as far as I know, all folks in L1 visas i.e. EB1c have not been interviewed for gc in past 14 months. do you know why they interviewed you? also, have you called USCIS call center to check if they have any additional information

well I know about other 4 that were interviewed.. .. and one that is waiting for interview to be scheduled .. yes I also heard about people getting interview waived off .. but I can’t tell for sure why were we supposed to appear for the interview..

I haven’t called Uscis .. it seems they have 120 days to make the decision .. I completed about 90 .. also there is one known to us that is past 120 days and still didn’t get a decision .. not sure really what’s going on .. 🙄

I think those that sent the medicals along with the application got the decision without interview.. our lawyer advised against it and those that got rfe to send also got interview waived .., it probably is just by chance.. the application earlier moved pretty fast ..within about 9 months I had ead ap and interview scheduled as well … but nothing since after
