Green Card
Anyone that has received a green card , are they still issuing the card itself or is it a visa stamp in your passports??

They never stop to issue cards. They don't take your passport, they request only to see it. They give back to u. I never heard that uscis keep passport.

It is very rare to get a stamp on passport, they only do that in a very specific situation now

They will take your passport and place a stamp for 6 months visa. instances like this are for people who are married and apply for i130 then apply for i129f (K3) you will be able to travel to the United states before the 6 months visa expires. you will then have to pay the green card fee before you travel to the United states. when you get to the United states it will take 2 to 6 weeks before they mail you the green card
