md sahin she is kidding you can apply for citizenship when you get green card in your hand and then after 4 years you have to wait to apply citizenship

hello guys, no I am not kidding. i mean beacause asylum green card comes back-dated with the asyulum approval date. you will see that when GC comes to you

but Mona they put the date on gc one year prior
my friend got her asylum base gc after 2 years of applying and the date was of last year on that

technically the one year date they put is the approval date, and sine you filed as per your timeline in 2019 that means you were approved around 2018. soo gc date isnt issue datw its asylum approval date. if you have a lawyer ask and they can confirm to you and tell you what to do next if you care to correct it.
