which field office?
ola oddyAug 12, 2022
@ NBC.
J CAug 12, 2022
my case was assigned to San Antonio Texas and my dependants to Miami and that got me concerned for a long time. My case moved from NBC to TSC March 2021 and then moved back to NBC March 2022
ola oddyAug 12, 2022
@J C ,how can you track it when your case is being moved ?
P LAug 12, 2022
I went through a similar very long timeline but at a much lower priority (EB3-2).
I think we both were hit by the Covid 19 slowdowns and the fact that because filling dates for FY2021 progressed heavily so there was a huge influx of applications at the lockboxes.
When did USCIS transfer your case to NBC?
J CAug 12, 2022
when you submit inquiries the last letters of the inquiry number gives you an indication on where your case being processed at. If it ends MIA that is Miami for example , if it ends MSC that is NBC but based on your postal code your case gets assigned to a certain field office

congratulations 🎊
J CAug 12, 2022
ola, if your case is NBC you can figure out your field office by using your postal code and search for your field office on the USCIS web page
J CAug 12, 2022
P L you can find my transfer history on one of my comments above
ola oddyAug 12, 2022
@J C , thanks so much ...I inquiry few days ago and I was given a number by one of their representative and told me to wait for 30days for response .
P LAug 12, 2022
J C: to reduce backlogs if the interview is waived the NBC seems to send it to any FO available with lower backlogs. Their goal seems to be to use the maximum of employment based immigration visas available this FY.
ola oddyAug 12, 2022
Searched through USCIS web and says it Philadelphia PA.
J CAug 12, 2022
P L , I was aware of that but with such a long time waiting , you get concerned by having your cases in different offices as you submit them as a family and you expect them to go to the same place ; but this Inmigration process here has no logic and does not follow common sense !
A PAug 12, 2022
wow you had to wait since Mar-2022 for the decision (post transfer to NBC) it would have been so painful. glad that your journey has come to a happy ending
J CAug 12, 2022
and congrats to you too P L
P LAug 12, 2022
thank you! And yes I can only imagine how this is when you come here with a family and living in that unsure time until approval.
I met my love here in the US and we'll marry soon. So that's my lucky and happy future.
And congratulations of course!
