Grateful I get to celebrate the NY as a Permanent Resident! I’m GREEN!!!
What a journey! Please hang in there if you’re still waiting. it will eventually come. Try and stay as distracted as possible and maybe come on here only when you need info if you feel seeing approvals of people who filed after you mess with your mood, your feelings are valid. Protect your mental health at all cost cause I’ve seen this process drive people to all sort of mental and physical illnesses. Honestly, my faith has really helped me during this journey…It’s free therapy 😭
Had 2 interviews after being told my interview was waived back in October after my rfe was received.
The 2nd one was scheduled and was 3 weeks after the first. The first, my usc spouse was asked just a few questions like name, occupation , where we married etc. lasted maybe 20mins
The second we were seperated for and questioned for an hour each and it was intense! Parents name, first date questions, kids info, where he schooled, what his job is like etc and it was recorded this time.

PS: In May, I was trying to expedite my work permit and mistakenly did for 485 too. And I was sent a link for evidence so yes, you can actually expedite 485. I submitted SAME evidence I did for work permit and AP. I also used my AP in Jamaica and had no issues coming in at all.

I requested to expedite my I-485 last week. I submitted my evidence. waiting on them now. I pray this works out for me too just like you

@Pepertua A but did they at any point in time write to you that your expedite request was approved (i.e before sending you medical)?

oh yes they did..they responded to request for evidence to back my claim but I had expedited AP and 131 and completely forgot or mistakenly did all 3. so I just sent in the exact docs I sent in for work permit and one week or so later after sending it in, I got a notification that an rfe had been sent out and it was for medical. For all my expedite requests, I did it over the phone and legit sounded like I was actually gonna die any minute 😭😅 and I leaned heavily towards not being able to get proper medical care too. I hope you hear back real soon @My Rock
