Granted 😭
After 9 years of waiting, I received a decision today that I was granted Asylum. I wanted to share so my story helps one of you out there to not lose heart despite current times. Brief timeline:
Applied 04/2017
Interview 09/2025
Decision about two weeks later.

Congrats! 🥳🎉 Almost 10 years waiting. Finally had my interview in May. Was told to pick up my decision two weeks later, then someone called and told me they would mail it. Still waiting. Your news gives me hope. Cheers to you!

My timeline is actually very similar to yours; I applied in March 2017 and just received my interview scheduling update. I wanted to ask — after your case was marked as “interview scheduled,” how long did it take before you actually received the interview notice with the exact date?

@Gee T I actually got the mail before I even noticed online. But looking back in my emails, after the testing and interview notification I got via email, the actual notice came 8 days later in my mail.
