my local field office is Sacramento but my case is being processed at El Paso field office in Texas.

Got the same response from them and this is probably been on for months. My case is over 600days from filing date. I’ve gotten the congressman involved, they told him the same thing. I’m just tired. I feel like withdrawing my case. How long does security check take.

any reason/history in file or they found that they put your case on sec check or is it just random thing, another way to slow down the traffic?

@Dreamer, it’s I-130, CR1/IR1. USC filing for spouse abroad. Vermont SC. They approved my son’s but haven’t yet approved my wife’s. March 2021. I heard they do it randomly. ESP when the case has a one issue or the other.

yes I am not sure, I was been told my interview was waived and everything looks good on my case when I spoke to tier 1 agent.

Tier 1 agents are the first people you talk to, that answer your calls. Please don’t rely on what they say. they don’t know nothing. They just tell you stuff just to make you happy and hang up the phone.
