Got RFE regarding I-864, not sure what they want
I saw the RFE mail through online portal. In the mail it says;
“Based on the documents submitted, we could not determine that the petitioning sponsor on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, is qualified. In order to be a qualified sponsor, the petitioning sponsor's Form I-864 must be properly completed and signed, and the supporting documents must establish that the petitioning sponsor's income meets 125 percent of the federal poverty guideline for the sponsor’s household size. See Form I-864P for information on the Federal Poverty Guidelines.”
And goes into detail about joint sponsor requirements.
My spouse makes more than 125% of poverty guideline. We don’t think we made errors on I-864.
I did some digging online and realized we didn’t send W2’s. But how do I tell if this is what they want?
Can I respond to this RFE via online portal or does it have to be through mail?
If they are not satisfied with my response, what’s next?
Does this RFE affect my I-765?

@ltf unlu you need to submit two I 864 application one for the petitioner and one for the joint sponsor will all the evidence you can find, also if you haven't submit your medial with your initial filing you can do so, please try and gather all your evidence quickly so that uscis can begin working g on your case again. best of luck in your journey.

summit it again and make sure is signed I see other post they also sent w7 1099 or pay stub

I think it's the same thing that happened to me. Everyone told me the transcripts were good enough, even a lawyer. Then I got an RFE requesting the W2's.

Yes they specifically stated that . Since then the status says nothing is outstanding.

yes they want w-2s,1099, schedule c,d,etc if your petitioning sponsor is set employed, pay stub,bank statements if you must, just don't leave any stone unturned this time around, the more evidence you submit, the better your chances are, best of luck
