@roya roya my PD is similar to you, 10th March 2023. Do you know how many times your case was transferred? My one was in Phoenix and Dallas (both are non local for me) and came back NBC.

My PD 13 March 2023. no updates at all since biometrics on September 2024. I’ve been told too many times my case transferred to Washington FO. I’m seeing a lot of people with PDs on March 2023 in the same situation. I’m wondering what is going on?

my case also transferred from FO To NBC IN September , case updated to VISA BULLETIN IS NOT CURRENT OR CASS HELD IN ABEYANCE no updates it has been since I have filed the I-485 petition

@Kevin 123 my case got stuck in FO then my lawyer decided to send a service request. Then after one month It went another FO. I believe service request can help when the case gets stuck.

@mohammad oh yea , I created service request for EAD asked me to wait for 60 days Emma told me that case assigned to officer , but no action was taken exactly after 60 days file transfered to Nebraska

@Mohammad Ebi I’m not from the 19 countries. but it’s been now 123 days since my status was changed to “case ready to be scheduled for interview “. I reached out to congressman and to senator for help and the response was it’s in queue to be scheduled for interview in the Washington field office which is not a local office for me. I asked my lawyer to send a service request since early this month but we didn’t receive any reply yet. it’s annoying couldn’t get patient

@Mohammad Ebi they just updated my status to case is scheduled for an interview, I know you went through the same could you please advise what questions they will ask and how long it will take to send me the interview date

@Elie Rad As for March 3, 2026 my congressman got a response from the USCIS saying that my case is in the Washington FO awaiting for a spot and seems that office is the slowest ever and most busiest one. I’ve been told through live agent lately that the case was transferred there since March 15, 2025

@Elie Rad great move for your case. Unfortunately as I am from that 19 countries, my interview was canceled and my case is in pause. Is there any restriction similar to my case for you? I mean are you from that 19 countries?

@Mohammad Ebi No but I am from the 75 countries.

@Elie Rad That would be great then. Based on my friends' experiences the interview is straightforward and mainly the officer will review the questions of the I 485 form that we already answered.

@Mohammad Ebi I am really tired of waiting 😔 my lawyer said this will take 1-4 months on average. based on your friend experience, do you know when they will send me the interview date and when should I expect the interview

@Elie Rad For my case when I got the update of "your case is ready for an interview ", two weeks later my interview scheduled (for 40 days later)

@Mohammad Ebi But I would say that I tried to do every single thing that could be done through my online account never being able to submit anything. I would mention that my receipt is starting with MSC, so I never received an online account code to link my case to my account. However, my lawyer is trying to submit a service request on my behalf and since I didn’t hire a lawyer from the beginning we are now trying to get her as my representative we filed for that almost 2 months ago but she still not considered as my representative. she’s been calling the USCIS almost every week but still hasn’t gotten anything

@Younes B you can submit service request by yourself, you do not need any one else, although better if a lawyer does it. As your case is in field office I belive USCIS let you submit it.

@Mohammad Ebi I don’t know how to do it. if you can tell me what to do or how to do this. I will try myself until my lawyer gets back from the USCIS and be able to do so

@Younes B Go to the link, then select check case processing. Based on your filing date and the current location of your case (local or main center) it evaluates whether you can submit service request or not.

@Mohammad Ebi The first time I can submit an inquiry is May 10, 2026. it says I’m within normal processing time. that’s ridiculous!
