@ a mtz - it took us 3 months until we received notification (on 6/24) that the interview has been scheduled after EAD receipt. So hang in there!

@ upnext 1989 - it said "interview was completed but the case must be reviewed" which was updated within hours of post interview.

@ fazan - Our IO only asked us 3 questions about our marriage - when did we first talk to each other, why it took so long to get engaged (we got engaged after 8 years of courtship) and how our parents felt that we finally tied the knot. We were prepared to answer other questions but didnt ask any other marriage related questions except those I mentioned. Then he asked my husband (beneficiary) security questions and asked us if we had anything to submit. So handed him our joint tax return from last year, joint bank account statement as well as some recent insurance and utility bill statements. The whole process took about 45 mins. Neither our IO was friendly nor he approved us on the spot, but from his tone and demeanor - I was able to tell that we were going to get approved 😀 So don't get stressed out too much, you'll do just fine

@ destina - No. I was hoping that we'd get approved on the spot after reading some reviews on this forum, but didn't happen. We were handed with white paper stating that the interview has been completed but must be reviewed with 120 days to make the decision
