Does anyone know how long Green Card processing is taking after an asylum grant? I’ve been waiting for a response for 725 days, and I’m still at the stage where my fingerprints were reused; the status hasn't changed in two years.

@Eck M I’m currently at 862 days since filing my I-485 based on asylum. My last case update was on April 8, 2025, when USCIS transferred my case to the Dallas Field Office. Since then, I haven’t received any further updates. Hopefully, both of us hear something soon. Good luck!

I don't understand what's going on; I've seen that some people with the same filing date as me have already been approved, and others have interviews, but my application isn't moving... It's pretty stressful... I don't know what else to do.

@Mr Green Yes, I filed a Writ of Mandamus on July 2, 2026. No updates yet—still waiting. I’ll share an update as soon as I have one. Hopefully it won’t be much longer.
