Is anyone here in a similar situation. My Conditional GC will expire on Jan 2025. I have to submit my Removal of Condition on Oct 10th, (90 days before the expiration). Now I have travel plans and will have to leave the country in November 17. If my extension letter doesn’t arrive on time before I leave. Do you think it’s safe for me to leave the country and come back in Dec. since my GC expires in Jan 2025?

I wouldn’t leave until I have the notice. Even there some people had issues traveling with an expired green card and a notice with the extension. Postponing our plans sometimes is the best option

@Sarah S I haven’t seen my family in years also due to this immigration process…. it sucks, the us immigration system is broken but nobody wants to fix it, in the contrary politicians make it worse and play with it….

my friend are who advise you to take your notice before leaving but if the travel is not important please get your ten years before leaving like me have summit my own January 2023 still waiting tink about it

since 2016 have never see my family talking from experience have been leaving in UK for good TEN YEARS before came to state

you can travel without a notice until you GC expires
