Frustrated!
In about 2 weeks from now, it would be a year in CRP. I’ve tried everything! called numerous times, submitted 2 case inquiries, asked Emma, reached out to 2 congressmen, and 1 senator. But nothing! The wait is just so annoying especially after I’ve seen a lot of people who are past my priority date get approved. I’ve deleted this app due to me being angry at their approval, but happy for them too.
Here’s to manifesting my approval soon!!! if you’re waiting, we’re in this together. God will perfect all he has started!! Amen!

sorry to hear that @J A . We all are in the same boat and we have same feelings and frustration on its peak. I don’t understand their system that on what basis they are approving cases and would like to pending the applications. I don’t know 🤷♂️ where this frustration will end 😔

File a Mandamus Lawsuit and they will act on it within days.
crp manMay 22, 2024
@N V what is a Mandamus Lawsuit?
J AMay 22, 2024
@F A At, this point, we can only hope and pray one day as the days go by. @N V I can’t afford to do that, because you must use a lawyer to file the lawsuit. Also, I’m supposed to remain patient until February 2025, so the processing time says and an officer I spoke with earlier this month.
J AMay 22, 2024
@Yas I Makes zero sense at all. I’m more pissed with the Visa bulletin because at this point it’s useless. why not approve by priority date, since we’ve been waiting on visa number with our priority date. I told an office this, and he claims everyone’s case is different which is nonsense. We can only pray and hope that it would be our turn soon!
J AMay 22, 2024
@Have Faith Absolutely! it’s easier said than done tho, because until you have that green card in hand nothing is guaranteed.
D AMay 22, 2024
@J A we’re are all here together in our frustration:( I have no words to describe how it is unfair and annoying what they do to us:((( @J A you are not alone , sending you a lot of support 🙏🏼🙏🏼
J AMay 22, 2024
@D A @Have Faith Thank you! @Yas I Exactly, I regret filing concurrently tho. I’ve noticed a pattern with people who apply after I-140 approval, they’ve mostly received their green cards.
D AMay 22, 2024
@J A no necessary . my i140 was approved 12 of January 2023, I filed i485 March 30 2023, already with i140 approved by then. anyway , on August 3rd 2023 the status of i485 changed for CRP, and here I am , on CRP 10 months , together with you who filed concurrently 🤷♀️
J AMay 22, 2024
@D A @Have Faith Interesting! I thought it was a trend then. so I guess, when it’s your time, it’s your time.
D AMay 22, 2024
@J A I just wanna know who is this GOD who decides when it’s your time … and which logic they use to identify it …
J AMay 22, 2024
@D A Perhaps it’s the grace of God, and nothing else.

IMHO, Texas is very slow on I-485 approvals.

@J A may I know what did the officer say about waiting until feb 25? what is this timeline about? did u call the USCIS or it was EMMA?
I am on CRP almost one year now.PD oct22
g cMay 23, 2024
I am on same pd sep 22 and been crp for a year and current since Jan 24. don’t know why nothing is on my case yet
K I-485May 23, 2024
I have August 2022, priority date as well. I even completed interview last year December, and we were told we were approved on the spot, but haven’t heard anything since then. I have raised a service request and even my senator has also made an inquiring as well, we keep getting the same generic response. It can be frustrating at times.
J AMay 23, 2024
@drchychy . I stay in MA. I found a website for the congressmen in my district, and fille out a privacy release act form for USCIS on their website.
J AMay 23, 2024
@niw-crp UR I spoke with an officer about a case inquiry I had submitted. He said the reason they hadn’t gotten to me was because, it’s too early in my case to submit one. That my case would exceed processing time in Feb 2025. If I don’t get approved by then, I should submit another one.
J AMay 23, 2024
@g c @K I-485 I feel you. I was hoping that once’s we do our best to bring our application out of the dark hole that is crp, we may get out approval sooner. I guess it works for some, and not all.
K I-485May 23, 2024
@J A how were you able to get a USCIS Officer? please provide me with information. Thank you.
J AMay 23, 2024
@K I-485 1-800-375-5283. This number, and when it asks how they can help you, just say “info pass” all else they wouldn’t transfer you to a live agent.
No Hope for CRPMay 23, 2024
waiting as well. sep 22 pd.
Napoleon BonaparteMay 24, 2024
@K I-485 that is horrible. If you can afford it you should file mandamus. you will get a result very fast.
