My attorney did submit the inquiry for case outside normal processing time and my case got approved 2 months later.

I have reached out to the congressman they are waiting for a response from them also the senator. I did reached out to the ombudsman earlier and they said it was within processing time. Given what's happening now I will resubmit a form for them to enquire for me.

@Nik Nelly actually in their website they write at the bother do not reach out to us until this date and the issue is that date is like another year after 36 months

She filed the inquiry on Sep 14th with 35 months within process.

and my case got approved 2 weeks ago! go ahead and do it! even though the website says to not reach out, your case is outside of processing time. all we can do is try

@Elfaith Pro I'm afraid to sit idly by and this thing keep extending without an action being taken. I don't have a work permit because I filed under C31 so it's affecting the quality of life for my son and I. It's beginning to depress me. I remember the ombudsman had said that my case was sent to Potomac due to excess cases being at Vermont. With today being a holiday I can't reach out to anyone but come tomorrow I have to search for answers.

@Mrkvica M. Yes I did earlier before the end of the 36 months and mailed it to Vermont but I think I did it too soon. So I may resend it to them again and see what happened

@Mrkvica M. It would be about 2 months but a week ago I received a correspondence from them that they have sent to USCIS asking to get an update. I spoke to them today and they said they will get back to me soon
