Frustrated
I’m at a point of sheer frustration, exhaustion, and confusion. When I first filed the I-130 in March 2024 for my husband, my timeline was four weeks. then it changed to six months. September came and went. then it changed to “taking longer than normal but still within processing time” until last month. then it was finally updated to 4 weeks. every week since then it dropped to 3 weeks, 2 weeks. I’m entering my final week and checked this morning, and it was updated to two months. I’m practically in tears from the lack of understanding. people are being approved who applied way after me. I’m tired of having “hope” and reading about “trusting God.” these processes are broken and not logical and no amount of hope or faith can justify or appease this lack of logic. #frustrated 😔

Be patient you are lucky you have your EAD, mine have been pending since last year, No EAD, No interview until now

it’s not the fact of being patient. it’s the fact that none of this process or timeline makes logical sense and there’s literally no support for anything. you can contact USCIS and they are totally unhelpful and just copy and paste generic responses with literal no urgency. also, these are my feelings and experiences, so I don’t think I need to “be patient” when this process is literally like wagging a steak in front of a dog.

we have the same PD and I am still waiting, contacted congress and they replied to congress that it is still within normal processing time that I should make inquiries by 2027 which is crazy. I know someone who applied May and already had interview scheduled,he got his work authorization approved same day of biometrics all under 3 weeks. It is crazy that we don’t understand how they really work.
