Fourth Expedite Attempt - I765
I requested an expedite on Monday, for the fourth time. I was asked for further evidence and submitted evidence supporting severe financial loss to me personally and also the company I work for, which was received today. I have been on administrative leave since November, so hopefully they will consider that and also the medical expenses / issues that my daughter has with her back requiring ongoing treatment. Not hopeful of a positive response, seems all expedites are being rejected, but need to try.

I’m in the same boat (waiting for a EAD) and its already extremely stressful, I can’t imagine what it must be like for people that have families. Breaks my heart, so sad!

waiting for an expedite too. i literally placed it beginning of december and nobody knows whats going on/ can give me an answer.

Depends what they feel like when they wake up each morning…….honestly though, no idea one of mine took 4 weeks another took 6 days.

Severe financial loss to both company and personally as a family, risk of losing job and potential need to return home. my daughter is undergoing treatment for a back injury also, which requires ongoing treatment and without medical coverage we will be unable to pay. I got a letter from physician.

CG 7 - I'm sorry to hear that. the thing with expedite requests is that they're on a case-by-case basis and they depend on the officer who reviews them. that's who needs to be convinced. you may have a strong case but if that officer doesn't think so for whatever reason, then you'll be denied an expedite. the rate of approval for expedite request is very low. slightly higher with the help from your congress representatives, but again, it all comes down to whether the officer in charge is convinced. but I would recommend to expedite on your own and then through the congress representative together. those two together show the urgency on your side. good luck! 🙂

@ ANBO 3: What was your reason for expedite request? I did request through congressmen, based on the new job, about a week ago, and I am still sure new job will be enough to get approval?

I meant to include utility bills also, do you think I could send a second email with those attachments? or is it too later?
