Form I-864a
My wife is a US citizen sponsoring me for a marriage green card. My wife does not earn the amount needed for eligibility. Can my father (my wife's father in law) be a household member and represent as my financial help in the I-864a form? Thanks!

he will be sponsor ,there is a form he has to fill ,you have to submit it together with all your forms

Are you sure? my wife is the US citizen so her father in LAW (my father) will be the one filling the i-864a document, is that acceptable?

@subhan anybody can be your joint sponsor if he/she follows the requirements and legally works in the US- even if he/she is a mad man🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

your sponsor doesn't have to be related to you. they can be friends, associates, etc. just as long as they have to required documents to present.

Yep MAA is right,anybody you know, including friends, relatives, uncles or aunties can be your sponsor.
