Forget about quarterly movement.
Don't buy into the speculation of VB moving every quarter. Just accept the fact that it will not move any time soon. Try to have a backup plan if this path of immigration is too much for you. Switching employers, going part time, try to reduce the amount of time you have to work unskill jobs as much as possible. Do not fear the threat from sponsors, your agency, take the lawyers' words with a grain of salt if they advise you against any of that. Your life will be miserable if you keep worrying about priority date advancement and green card. Try dissuade people to apply to this category while you are at it. Know what you signed up for.

@rory bobbett you will definitely make it. you are so close but yea I don’t believe in quarterly movement anymore. there is no pattern it’s all up to them and backlog but definitely backlog is getting bigger and bigger which means longer wait time for new applicants.

I wish BDV and other agencies that we filed with were honest about the option of joining employer after GC . Last year it was August 2020 by this time and the bulletin has moved just 4 months in a year? Most of the 2020 filers that I know have received their GC so wondering why it barely moved ahead instead of jumping forward atleast by a year.
one of the fear that i have is many folks especially those filing from overseas have multiple dependents and until their cases is finalized this bullein will keep moving at snail’s pace.
Also, the country is trying to move away from both legal and illegal immigration and the best way is to just slow down the process to the extent people feel hopeless about immigration.

@deb guj that’s true overseas applicants with dependents is one of the reason why visa bulletin is not progressing because embassies are slow in scheduling interviews. Due to this reason AOS applicants are suffering and waiting longer but I guess all we can do is wait.

@deb guj BDV only cares about the revenue, the more uneducated people who do not really know the process apply through their program, the better it is to them and their pocket. And they will continue to gather as many applications as they can to sabotage the whole category. BDV holds only part of the market share, there are many agencies out there preying on people dream of getting green cards in just a few years.

@BDV PUBLIC ENEMY #1 I think someone has to step in and need to make people aware of all this . People are signing up left and right without knowing what they are getting in. People who are stuck in this process don’t have a choice . But the ones that are going to start this process have the choice not to do it. I’m not discouraging anyone but to be honest its not worth it anymore
