First EAD I-765 (C8)
I did biometric & fingerprint based on asylum (C8) in February 2021 & I applied for my first EAD in June 2021 texas service center & received a receipt on June 16 2021 . my question here should I do a second biometric? How long does it take to get EAD?

Qusay - be prepared for months of wait. for first C8-EAD it used to be 30 days maximum. but not anymore. now it's months. look up #asylumEAD in the app and you'll find a post titled EAD Eligibility for ASYLUM SEEKERS. I shared information about the subject in that post. 🙂

thank you, when I check processing time on USCIS based on c8 they mentioned between 4 weeks to 7.5 months

They may reuse your old biometrics or send you for a new ones

Qusay - you're welcome. that timing is just for "formality". it can be more or less, or even longer. it's USCIS.

Qusay - I missed the question about the biometrics. Sophie is right in my case, I've never had biometrics done for any of my EAD's. USCIS took my biometrics for the asylum case once and then each time they reused them for the EAD's.
