we have the similar time frame, I applied end of the June/2023 and RFE was sent in July. My case is also in same field office, do you mind to share what you told to the senator?

@g r just go to the website State Senator of your State and search contact information and then email them describing your issue, like "I'm writing you to request your assistance in helping me get a decision from USCIS on the status (I-485 Permanent Residence/Adjust of Status, Asylum based) pending more than (times). I applied (date), case transferred to the (FO) and (date). Etc.... then they will email you a privacy form, print it, filed it by hand and then email it to them. That's it they will contact USCIS on your behalf

@Jasvir Sandhu I contacted State Senator by email like 1 or 2 am (before I slept). At 9:55am, they email me back: Hello, Thank you for contacting Senator Tillis' office regarding your case with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In order for our office to inquire on your behalf, you must first complete and sign the attached Privacy Act Release Form. The form must be signed by hand, not typed, and may be returned via scan and email to me or mail to the address on the form. I did it and sent it back at 12:33pm. At 2:25 pm I received another email: Good afternoon, Our office has inquired with USCIS. Usually USCIS responds to congressional inquiries in about 30 to 60 days. Once our office receives an update we will notify you. At 6:31pm another email (USCIS anticipates you should receive a notice of action on your case within 15 to 30 days). Just in 1 day
