just had the interview today. the questions were very straightforward. basic information about each other including but not limited to spelling name, dob, birth city etc. how did you meet. when did you make it official. who proposed where did you get marry and why did you decide to get married. questions about parents name and where are they now. simple daily life questions and how far do you live from this field office etc. basic employment information like where do you work and what’s your position. recent travel together and where did you stay in terms of the hotel. then after that will be some Yes or No questions. but we didn’t get approve on site, instead she gave us a piece of paper says held for review. 485 changed from interview to actively reviewing. no updates on 130.

Main tip: bring everything you need to bring and anything they didn’t ask you to bring. you can also upload documents. for every copy you uploaded, make sure to bring original copies just in case. the officer I interviewed with mentioned she had a case where a couple brought 1 piece of evidence that was not close to even being evidence because it was a death certificate of their landlord. so como prepared. make sure you and your spouse go over personal questions like where did you meet? who cooks? and all that other jaz.

@Karina S hi i finish my interview 2 hours ago it went really good he took me and my wife together we had to add some stuff at application like we didn’t mention kids before so he add everything he was kind of new he was slow with typing then he ask us show me what you bring for evidence we start with pictures he points some people in pictures who is this who is this then he we show him all paper lease bank statements electricity wifi gas and phone bills together he open one bank statement ask who are these people in statements who you send money i told its my mother in law and my sister in law then he ask questions from i485 form then he ask me did you work here without work authorization i was to be honest i told yes i work some hours every week before work authorization come for surviving here he said thanks to be honest then next question he ask did you done any crime i said if working without authorization is crime then i did he said no its not crime its survival move then he ask questions regular like was you ever in prison etc i told all no then he send my wife outside and ask me some questions like which school my step son from my wife go and who pick and what is my and my wife work schedule

then they ask did she talk to my family i said yes then what we did for my birthday and then they send me out bring her in and asked same questions

now i got 3 mails action take no any update yet hopefully something good is coming

I just finished my interview like 45 mints ago! the interview when well, the people in the building were really welcoming and nice! the call us in at 1pm! my appointment was at 12:30! the lady call me my husband my daughter and me in the office… the. she star with the interview, she a star asking me my full name, date of birth just that in the moment.. then she ask my husband where we met, when.. how long we date’ then she ask me date of the marriage, how many kids we have, we have 2 kids together and I have a daughter prior.. then she asked a lot of questions house hold family, income, if my husband was born here, how he got citizenship he got that trough her mom when he was a minor! then she ask what type a visa I have, when I enter the us, why I stayed

@Ash Hussain let me tell you she ask a lot of questions… she have to fix like 2 questions that I have to update! then practically she ask me all the I-485 questions lol 😂 me and my daughter because she is 16! she take a look to the pictures and she sees all of them, ask who was in the pictures all of that, then she pick like 6 picts to. put into the file for update! she really was focused on me more that my husband… I was helping her with the dates that USCIS received my medical because she couldn’t find them! then she said the we need to go to the lobby are for a couple of minutes so she reviewed something and they’ll us about the decision

@Ash Hussain then she when to the supervisor and stay there like for 20 minutes we and another couple where waiting in the lobby, and then she came and call us and give us back or passport’s and said that she is going to review the documents, but I shy expect my card in the mail by 3 weeks.. she said everything is good expect your card in the mail! and know I received 2 emails that action is taken but no update!
