PD : Oct 2022 Applied :Feb 2023, for some reason it shows March 2023. Case remains pending from Oct 2022, became current since Jan 2024, ready to scheduled for an interview from Feb 2024. First interview scheduled on July 8th (it was the day when Hurricane Beryl was touching down Houston), received a phone call on 7th (Sunday) from an officer at USCIS stating that the office would be close on 8th and 9th and that my interview would be rescheduled to late July or first week of August. I wasnt sure if this was normal as I had never heard USCIS calling and doing this (but she provided my name, appointment day and time) so checked online and saw in urgent cases they do this and also confirmed with my lawyer and she said the USCIS website shows that the offices are closed on the specified dates. Received interview letter on 22nd July about the interview on July 30th. Day of interview: They only allow entering 15mins prior to appointment time, entered the building, went through security checks and the check in counter person provided a slip for biometrics (took photos and thumb scans) and wrote our interview number on the appointment letter The biometrics call up was electronic but for the interview officers were coming out and calling the interview numbers and names of the people, we sat for about 40-50mins before our names were called. Interview: After entering the chamber she asked to give All physical EADs (not H1bs), passports, Our advance parole (we used it to travel), latest i94s (changed due to travel), marriage certificate, Joint income tax for last 3 years(me and my wife, we had not submitted that before). She just went over the form, mostly the yes and no questions.I provided a few updates to her - Promotion at the job, new publications, updated citations from google scholar, birth certificate of our daughter as she wasnt born when we applied. My wife is a dependent on my application and she was also asked the same things and the officer told that nothing is due from our side at this moment and gave us a letter stating the same and told us that she will be approving the permenant residence and that we should receive our GC in three weeks. She also took our advance parole documents and I asked her if she would keep that with her she said that since we will be using GC for work and travel we wont need it and if she let us have it then we would need to surrender the document when we apply for citizenship. Hope this helps and sorry for the long post

@F S hello. did you got approved after resubmitting under 245k? i have follow up questions. can I talk to you more?
F SAug 9, 2024
@Quickly Done I didnt resubmit, sure.
Quickly DoneAug 9, 2024
@F S @F S How did you explained overstay and unlawful work period in the form? I have to go under 245k rule.
F SAug 9, 2024
I didnt have overstay, I was only asked how many days of unlawful work I had to which I said 10 (I also had specified it in the form). It is acceptable to have less than 180 days of unauthorized work for employment based applications.

What questions did they ask about your pay stubs and joint income tax? @F S
F SAug 20, 2024
@Nk T At the interview they asked if I had my tax returns, fortunately I had taken my current years joint tax returns, she didnt ask about pay stubs. I was asked if I was working in the same position, I told the officer that I was promoted to which she asked if I have any documents for it so I provided her with my pay stub that showed my current title.
