Finally Got approval
I filed for my husband at the beginning of September 2023 and received an RFE for the I130 in November. I submitted our response early January and received approval a little over two weeks later. His I485 was approved the next day. We are so elated! I am extremely happy because the entire process was stressful. My husband was adamant that we needed an attorney, but I was determined to get it done on our own. From reading the instructions on each application. To filling them out, and making sure the correct applications were completed. To gathering info from my husband, and compiling our evidence/ creating a photo album timeline. I’m just so grateful, and shocked slightly that we didn’t have to go through an interview.
Does anyone know what happen to his EAD application as it never got approved and still being reviewed? I know he doesn’t need it now. Just wanted to know out of curiosity.
