anybody’s guess but uscis processing time for I485 shows 10.5 months on their website.
sam kDec 18, 2025
I’m in the same boat . my medicals were submitted in 2022 and I’m guessing the sooner I get medical rfe the better chance of getting approved.

your case will put up by an officer followed by RFE for medical. you have to submit medical rfe within time limit. uscis receive it and acknowledge. after that they'll schedule an interview and after that you'll approve for the GC. overall, the whole time limit is highly variable, but 1 year from now is the fair time to get physical GC card in your hand.

what is a priority date and how do I check mine?
dk devDec 18, 2025
I m also current after Jan visa bulletin, pd India Oct 22, last month I got rfe for medical , submitted and case now in CRP
sam kDec 18, 2025
@dk dev what was your status before medical rfe ? I’m surprised you were not in CRP all this time.
J ZDec 18, 2025
Most of the 2022 filers may need to go again for biometrics. As per new USCIS rule which came out this month , expiry date of photos previously taken is 36 months now.
dk devDec 18, 2025
@sam k finger print taken ->moved to NBC center-> moved to pending crp —> finger print applied —-> medical rfe last month ( it was not in current) -> moved to CRP again last month as visa number not available
sam kDec 18, 2025
ok , 10 days ago my wife’s status changed to fingerprints taken while my status is still CRP. Not sure why but looking at your case history @dk dev either my wife or both of us should be receiving medical rfe next.
dk devDec 18, 2025
@sam k yes, you both should get medical rfe next
sam kDec 18, 2025
@dk dev did that happen in your case where only one status changed to finger print from CRP but both received medical rfe ?
A KDec 18, 2025
@dk dev, what was your medical RFE for? were your medicals done prior to Nov ‘23 and hence expired?
sat banDec 19, 2025

@dk dev Yes, many folks from 2022 PD, received medical RFE. You'll be scheduled for the interview soon followed by GC approval. Good luck 🤞

my FAD will be current starting Jan’26 and I submitted my Medicals in Jan2025, with I-485 submitted in Dec2024. Do I still need to re-submit medical?
nit jJan 21, 2026
