congrats.thats what i tell people dont wait for your lawyer or wait for uscis we have to be on top of our own cases

congrats!!! why did you have a stroke interview? I had my initial interview almost 2 months ago and was told we will be approved but still nothing. I am wmantalkt preparing myself for a stroke interview and I will be so surprised if they do that baceuse we have a freaking baby together 🙄 these people

@SM I did a service request through congress in January so am not sure if that triggerd a stroke interview… USCIS can pull any card on you but I was prepared for anything! The stroke interview was easy, finished in less than 2 hrs

wow! am happy for you this is over. wel I am not really scared for the stroke interview 😂 I have nothing to hide luckily I will wait and see if anything changes and maybe I can follow through and seek further assistance

@maria they just ask how me meet, proposal, how much money he make per hour, just little things about what we had for dinner last night… we studied about how much windows in the house etc and they never asked that but we were prepared for anything.,,. we had like 10 questions each

@ Nicky when I reached out to congress they told me I had a stroke interview when USCIS respond to them and it’s funny the interview was in two weeks after the request, I canceled because the lawyer couldn’t make it and they rescheduled two weeks again from the date,.. I was nervous

@kunal it’s marriage based and yes I speak to a live agent everyday and I also do a service request where I spoke to a tier 2 officer as well

@ Shan 2022 many many congratulations to you! do you think congressman inquiry triggered stokes interview? did they ask for any documents during second interview? did they ask for any documents during first interview? thank you for your responses I have been waiting after interview without any updates since Oct 2021

@falcon I think it did in some sense but am from New York and New York love to give stoke interviews from what I heard… we didn’t have a lot of documents in the first interview because we had a bank statements for like 2 months, when we got married in 2020, Covid hit so we really didn’t have any recent pictures going out at the time, I had life insurance, health etc and the second interview they asked if we want to provide any additional document and I provided a lease and more pictures… My experience basically I would say, as long u can explained yourself, everything will be fine but I keep speaking to live agents everyday to see how far my case was…

congrats mines got approved as well after a year but didn’t have stroke interview. the only think is they didn’t count the waiting of the 1 as residency so Basically one year lost and plus it was only months to be 2 years married so we still get conditional

Hi Shan congratulations. I got scheduled interview for March 10th than it was canceled by USCIS they said they will give us new date Bc my file wasn’t there at that time do you know any issue like that ?

hi Shan, do uscis give you info without your spouse who filled for u being around? when my husband calls, they want me to be there…when I call, they always want to talk to him to give consent. The bad part is, he’s at work at uscis working hours. so the calls always end when both of us are not present at same time. Please advice!

depends on which form your asking about i130 is for your husband and i485 and i765 is yours

Yeaa, that why I keep woundering how people get to keep call and disturbing them to get info…just Mayb the petitioner is always present during there call.

congratulations but just a reminder ,a lawyer can't cal Uscis or make expedites or call the senator.Thats your work .
