how was the interview?

the interview was great and I don’t know why it took more than 7 months to approve my case . I did an inquiry through my congresswoman representative office 3 weeks ago and yesterday they sent her an email that they will need to extend my inquiry 30 days . Today they approve it .

wow congratulations. that's a good news indeed. do they ask lot of questions in the interview just curious.

noo they just asked me my name date of birth my adress date of marriage and took the medical exam to upload it and check the submitted application. the interview was less than 20 min but first he asked me to stand up and raise my hand to do the swear

oh!! wow it was quite simple. I pray mine be as simple as yours. I recently just got approved the i765 they mailed the card today. hopefully I will get it on Monday. and my i131 and i485 still in process. thank you very much for the information.

congratulations for your EAD what was your priority date ? did you submit all your forms concurrent?

I guess I may be going through congressman as well. No update or decision after interview till now. we both have the same IO during interview. I guess that's his pattern.

yes amazing sunshine absolutely. i did my inquiry through the congresswoman representative office and it worked out. just send a message for her and they will call you back you have to fill out the form and sign it . they will respond to her

Congratulations 🎉 Ghina, my field office is in Dallas, it’s been about 7 months since my interview. if I wanted to contact my local congress person, how do I go about it?

thank you @ LV F you just have to search online by your zip code who is your congressman. then you send a message or an email to him describing your situation. they will reply by an email or call and asking you some questions. and send you an authorization form for inquiry ,you have to fill it and sign it and resend it back to him. the congressman will send your inquiry request to the uscis . it takes between 2 to 4 weeks to respond to him . if after 4 weeks you don’t hear anything from him you just have to contact him. they responded to me within 3 weeks . I hope things will work out with you .
