Finally!!!!!
Hi Guys Finally got my approvals. It was a tough journey yet learned a lot from the experience I got. I wish each and everyone the best on their pending cases. Yes, is worth the wait and patience. My advice is, learn to take charge on your cases and don't relax. Respond to requests from USCIS earlier to prevent further delays and make frequent checks on your cases to get first hand updates. It is a tough journey but also you need that waiting and patience spirit. God help you all.

@Dundo Maroza , no interview but a couple of RFEs. Like I said, keep following up on your cases. Because most of my requests were sent directly to me without my lawyer having a copy. I responded to them right away without wasting time as soon as I received them then informed my lawyer about it.

B
Bro YawJun 10, 2025
@Dundo Maroza @Fm a one was the medicals which was last year and the recent one was affidavit of support which apparently doesn't apply to me but I did sent them all the evidence they needed and my lawyer drafted a letter proving why I didn't need the affidavit of support because I am self petitioning. All these RFEs came directly to my mail without my lawyer getting a copy.

@Bro Yaw Hi! I received an RFE regarding the Affidavit of Support. My VAWA petition has been approved, so I understand that I'm exempt from submitting Form I-864. However, I'm not sure how to respond to the RFE. If you've been through this and could share how you handled it, I would really appreciate it!

@Susie R What I was to submit whatever they requested for and include a letter why you are exempted from that RFE. Plus add your VAWA approval and receipts to strengthen your RFE. If you have a lawyer, I suggest you let the lawyer handle it but make sure the lawyer submit the particular RFE requested. That was what I did. And follow the instructions on how they want you to submit it and do exactly that. Try to respond within time.
