Finally!
I have finally stopped crying enough to share my timeline. I still can’t believe this day is finally here. Transferred to Miami FO on March 24, RFE for medicals issues May 5, received by office June 6 and approved today. For every single one of you who might see this and have that sinking feeling of “it’s never going to happen”: I feel you because that’s been me so many times, and I am sending strength and love to get through this trash. My hot take? Understand your case and all the steps, ask questions, and be wary of using your immigration lawyer as the SOLE source of information. I promise it WILL happen and this horrible and cruel limbo will one day be a thing of your past. ❤️

hey can I ask you a question about I-131 you applied for refugee travel document or AP or what?
Stef BJul 25, 2022
@pray for me - applied for AP and literally never got it 🙄. My grandpa passed away and I wasn’t able to go home…
Ahmed SamaraJul 26, 2022
sorry for your loss. But why you did not do expedite???when you grandpa passed away it’s an emergency and one of the reasons for expedite an USCIS
Stef BJul 26, 2022
@pray for me I knew it would take too long and I wouldn’t get home in time. It felt like a lost cause.

Dude, thanks for telling me that all I'm passing through will be over. Means a lot for me! Enjoy your freedom! God bless you.
