did you ever get closed your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number IO because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means.

@daniel. Did you get any rfe after the interview? Did they give you any reason as to why your case took so long to be approved after the interview? Finally, did you make a case inquiry when it took long to be approved? Thank you

@joy boat no i never had an rfe throughout my process. I was an f1 student and switched assistantship from one school to another. so they told me they had to make a lot of updates after the interview. so i got a letter that my case was being reviewed

basic questions they asked was my wife’s phone number, where we met, how i proposed, her mom and dads name. what nickname i call my wife, when i entered the us. the officer did not look at my original documents. and the interview was virtual. it was like a video call interview

@joy boat i never made an inquiry. the officer told me it was December and some of them were getting ready to travel so she needs time. i was confident i was gonna be approved because the interview went so well. it was kinda friendly conversation

I also went to interview on Dec 16th. The officer told me everything went well. He said my case would be reviewed and I might get my green card in 2-3weeks. I haven't heard from them since then. That's why I'm asking you all these stuffs. Thank you
