Feels like I-485 is taking longer than it should
My I-140 was approved through premium processing followed by a concurrent submitting 131 and 485. EAD and PT came through within 45 days with priority date May 28, 2024. Biometrics came through super fast however I’ve now been waiting for the 485 to be approved for 392 days.
Is this normal and how would I follow up on the delay or get the 485 moving forward … it hasn’t had a change for over a year now.

@Michael Erasmus Yes if your PD is current, you are outside normal processing times. open a SR and maybe even contact congressman

it’s already taking much more than 12.5 months that they say it should take them to process 80% of cases… you gotta do a follow up inquiry on a website, I’ve been waiting for 310 days on a same case and I asked my lawyer to follow up (haven’t got any response yet)

any guidance on the process of contacting a congressman? do I need to feed that via my attorney or how would that work? ignorant question - what is a SR?

I am exactly in your same shoes.
for congrassman just google your city+congressman and you’ll most likely find their page with the service provided and contact info. Just reach out via email and ask for support
