Feeling stupid
I sent an upgrade request from F2A to IR1/CR1 to NVC rather than USCIS for my spouse's case, which is still being processed at USCIS. After two months of waiting, NVC informed me that I had sent my request to the incorrect address. Two months were wasted for nothing. 😞

I thought uscis will change it automatically... why didn't u call to uscis first?

USCIS won’t change unless you notify them. I thought there was only one way to upgrade.
