Feel like Gollum from Lord of the Rings: Do all applications go to a field office?
I feel like I have become obsessed with reading about filing, looking at time lines and coming up with reasons my application is taking longer compared to others on the app. My one year wedding 💒 anniversary is coming up at the end of the month (we had a Halloween 🎃 wedding). We did not apply until the middle of March.
Question: do all applications go to a FO? Cannot get a solid answer.
Some people are approved so fast. I am terrified of getting NOID or something. I hope if they have questions, I get interviewed. We broke the 90 day rule badly by getting married 2 days after I entered the US but we waited 4 months before filing. This is all explainable if I am given the chance.
I just needed to vent. I keep saying to myself “stop looking stop worrying” and then I am like Gollum and can’t put my shiny phone down. You will not get this if you are not a nerd…. 🧐 😊🩷

yes all go to a field office at some point. Thats where they get approved but the notice comes from NBC. all sorts of BS about this saying that the cases don’t have to go to a FO. if that’s true it’s like 1/1000 that don’t. expect it to go to a field office and expect them to say your interview is waived.
I can relate :) I feel like I know everything about immigration now because I’ve googled every possible thing and read everyone’s stories!!!

I don’t know how many times during the day I have to check my USCIS account and the lawfully app, let’s pray 🙏 and have faith in Jesus-Christ🙏

@God is Good I am as crazy as u , non stop checking the USCIS site and here . I keep staying here because I want to be the “ negative model “ of one of the longest case - 970 days pending . Hope all friends here still waiting for their approval , not feel that bad with my case . 😅

@Kingsley B we got married on the same day,my husband sent in my application 2 days after yours march 18 and got a rfe exactly a month after yours June 2nd for I-485. ,USCIS has been actively reviewing my I-130 abd I-485 for 109 days now, i don't understand why its taking so long if it was simply a mistake for a yes and no question thats all.
