@Brizanzigbe Mira Visa bulletin is published by State Dept not USCIS.
Jan 10, 2025
they will advance 4 months for EB2
aj kJan 10, 2025
visa bulletin will update quarterly so next update will be April visa bulletins. there will not be any movement monthly as stated by the department of state
eb3 unskilled Jan 10, 2025
@aj k don’t think about quarterly my friend, look at October Visa bulletin. is that quarterly movement? lols 😂
eb3 unskilled Jan 10, 2025
@E B me too, I don’t believe in “quarterly update “ !
Feb 21Jan 10, 2025
@E B it was mentioned in October 2023 visa bulletin, section E if I remember correctly. This year they didn’t mention anything, but they might follow the same approach like last year.
eb3 unskilled Jan 10, 2025
@ben jamin last time is 2023, now 2025, lols. I don’t think so. they’re waiting for Trump to become President! That’s it!
Amin GoretzJan 11, 2025
@Bitcoin . Exactly, I really hope Trump prioritizes AOS. Ik scrutiny will increase under Trump administration but can’t wait to be current PD sep 2021!
eb3 unskilled Jan 11, 2025
@Amin Goretz I think he will be focus on AOS because America after eliminating illegal immigrants will need Employment for hard job. Especially AOS is faster than the consular!
aj kJan 11, 2025
@Bitcoin . they mentioned “moving forward updates will show on quarterly basis”. it’s just what I understood from that visa bulletin. I m not here to spread false information. if it moves forward monthly I will be very happy like everybody waiting for their PD to be current.
@E B if you look back to the previous visa bulletin read from top to bottom you will find it. it’s all good I know you just want to know the source.
some people here just want to show their frustration.
aj kJan 11, 2025
trump can’t do Shit about this process. it is what the congress decided long ago. eb3- other workers not going to be more than 10 k per year no matter who become the president. it is away from his executive orders.

October 2023 fiscal year 2024
E. EMPLOYMENT-BASED VISA AVAILABILITY FOR FY-2024
Final action dates across most employment-based visa categories have advanced, reflecting new visa numbers available for FY-2024. Date advancements reflect an intention to keep visa issuance within quarterly limits in accordance with INA sections 201(a)(2) and 203(g), with potential date advancements throughout the fiscal year. However, actual date movements will be dependent on visa demand and issuance patterns throughout FY-2024.

@E B @aj k 2023 is 2023, 2024 is 2024, now 2025. will see! forget about “quarterly movement” my friend, it’s bullshit, if it’s correct, October 2024 Visa Bulletin is not no movement like that. but I’m sure 100% Trump will be faster for AOS. if you have time, just look at 2018, 2019. AOS is very fast, only consular is slow.
eb3 unskilled Jan 11, 2025
@E B “quarterly movement”, I was believed in that last time, but no more now, it’s bullshit, If it’s true, the October 2024 Visa bulletin would not have no movement like a clown, lols.

Are persons trying not to understand the process. There is a reason why CP approval is more than AOS. There are only 671 cases that has a PD that is current when you compare that to the thousands that are current at the Consulates it makes sense why CP has more àpproval. along with USCIS adjudicate all application from TPS,EAD, H-1B, citizenship everything for ever nationals while the Cp are only doing specific case mostly for only their nationals. CP has less cases and most of their applications dates are current hence more approval. In November 2020 there was 8117 cases at NVC dq but couldn't issue green cards because of Covid closure of the embassy global. Those cases has to be completed first which is the case for the last two years before AOS approval rates can get back to normal. Because most of AOS PD dates are in 2021 and 2022 while most of CP PD dates are in 2019 and 2020. AOS still has the upper advantage because cp if the employer abandoned the petition they can't use AC21 they have to redo the perm. so a lot of CP case tends to get abandoned which cynically but is good for AOS has the dates moves slightly faster.

Alot of persons don't understand the quarterly limits (QL)which in the statue it's apart of the law written by Congress. QL doesn't means the bulletin will move it means a percentage of the total amount of GC becomes available (Q1/2/3-27% and Q4-19%) however if the demand is equal or meets the supply than no movement of the date is possible. They entire system is base on the law of supply and demand hence why in a October VB when new visa becomes available it can still possible to retrogress not common but it happens, because the the demand is greater than the new supply significantly. This principle applies to every months vb issued which means for any month the VB can move forward backwards or remain the same. For it to move rapidly supply has to increase by increasing the cap or demand decrease by denial of petitions or abandonment by employers.

@hello mark that’s why I’m said Trump AOS will faster than CP. it already happened in 2019, 2020. you’re correct, they said QL in last time but it not really correct with this FY 2025
hello markJan 11, 2025
@Bitcoin . You think he will deny 6K -8K CP backlog with 2019 and 2020 PD. because those backlog has to be cleared before USCIS can start aggressively adjudication of 2021 and 2022 AOS. I would be very interested to hear your theory of how this would work without clearing CP backlog first? remember AOS has historically always given most of the approval only reason that's not the case now is because of the covid backlog at CP when the embassy was closed and AOS got all the GCs. once they clear cp backlog AOS will naturally get more of the approval once again because those case are pre-approved just waiting for the date to become current. As I stated would be interested to hear your theory of how he will clear the backlog because if his administration returning to require interviews for EB-I485 that would interest denials which may clear backlog but would also increase processing time.
hello markJan 11, 2025
@Bitcoin . They don't have to publish annotation that they will be using QL every fiscal year it's the law Congress told them to use it so it goes without saying. repeating in the FY2025 VB would be redundant. how can you confidently say "it's not really correct with this Fy2025" without having access to the data that DOS has ? what information you used to come to that conclusion. Also remember DOS already told AILA they will be taking a similar cautious approach for fy2025 as in FY2024 in their liaison meeting hence why not surprised with the movement of the dates.
eb3 unskilled Jan 11, 2025
@hello mark CP already clear in FY 2023, 2024
hello markJan 11, 2025
@Bitcoin . "CP already clear in FY 2023 ,2024" where you getting this information from ? according to DOS annual immigrant visa waiting list report as of November 1,2023 there are 44,470 case DQ at NVC which 25938 is Rest of the world.
hello markJan 11, 2025
@Bitcoin . AOS will start seeing a lot of approval once the dates gets to January 2021 onward because most of pending AOS PD is in 2021 and 2022.
hello markJan 11, 2025
@E B you can get USCIS data by searching USCIS data open the link to view "pending applications for employment base preference categories as of November 3,2024" and you can get DOS data by searching for "annual immigrant visa waiting list report as of November 1,2023".
