oh why it’s taking so long..did you just upload the certificate of naturalization @Yohanna v ? We also sent letter to our service center but we haven’t heard anything yet..

@Ericka Costales Make sure you also called them. cause I only uploaded my certificate and it wasn’t until I called them that they changed my status. Sadly it took 3 months for them to changed mine🥲but still hasn’t get approved

@Genesis calderon we also sent a mail to potomac service center to change our status but nothing new yet.. omg it took that long? may I know your priority dat? i also know someone who was filed on March 2022 and then the petitioner became USC on feb but hasn’t approved yet.. They tried calling uscis but was told to follow up repeatedly

It took that long because I didn’t call them right away when I became a us citizen. my lawyer uploaded the certificate in the uscis account in October when I became a us citizen. but then I noticed no change. so I called them in December and they sent a Inquiry request to my service center. and a month later on January 23 they sent me an email saying that they changed my status. So I think the key is to call them directly. My Pd is April 28 2023. Hopefully I can get approved soon🙏🏼

This is crazy. Sent a letter with naturalization certificate in November, no response. called them January and another upgrade request was opened and no response, called again in March and another upgrade request was placed and still no response. Crazy process.
