F2A
I feel a deep sadness. I’m in the F2A category, married to a permanent resident. My PD is 12/09/22 and the visa bulletin has been frozen for 7 months… This week, I’ll be celebrating my birthday for the third time away from my parents. I don’t know what to think anymore, I feel like I’ve lost all hope.

María, you have to keep the faith 🙏🏽 I know this is a very hard situation, I’m on the same boat and it’s very stressful and depressing. But look at the bright side, you have the opportunity to be with your love one! Have you tried to get an advance parole? and remember god’s timing is perfect 🙏🏽

from my understanding this category takes around five years or so but dont lose hope some times the time frames they give on the site arent as accurate and u just might get your before hand. keep your hopes up.!! Good Luck.! 🍀

you still can apply for advance parole tho, and you can use to travel and visit your family

@A F You're right, thank you for your kind words. I hope you receive good news soon. My lawyer doesn't recommend applying for advance parole due to the current situation... so... let's keep waiting... 🙏

@alen luis Thank you for your information. Can I ask you how long after your I-130 was approved did you get the I-485 approved? Was it after an interview? (My I-130 was approved 14 months ago without an interview…)

@María Hernández hi Maria! I see, I just used mine yesterday and despite of having my process still pending, it was all “good”, just stressful because I had to wait 3/4 hours to get in
