Hi @ahlam timou, we seem to have submitted our application around the same time and at the same service center. Based on what I’ve seen, they’re approving cases of january 2024. Let’s hope for the best 🙏🏼 I will keep you posted.

@Pamela Wallbom oooh really niiice to hear that I think that i’m the only one who submitted in this time ,yes I heard that they’re approving case of January 2024 but some people tell me that for citizens not for green card holders 😭😭😭

@ahlam timou, I guess that’s the case. My husband is a citizen, so I suppose I would be less time 🤷🏻‍♀️I don’t know. This processing times are messy. I hope everything goes well in your case 🙏🏼

@Pamela Wallbom it is faster when your spouse is a citizen (priority) vs. a greencard holder, and yup same process just longer wait times. i hope you get your approval soon!!!

@ahlam timou the processing time for permanent resident is longer than citizens. you can get your naturalization, then once naturalized update your filing status from green card holder to a citizen. it saved me atleast a year of waiting.

F2A takes 3-5years

My PD is June 2022 and still waiting in the states. F2A, yes. I know it’s almost my turn according to the Visa Bulletin but still expecting 1 to 2 years to get the GC.

@ahlam timou maybe the i130 was approved in 16months however the wait time is 3-5 years in its entirety. The bulletin is currently stuck at Jan 1 2022 so the minimum wait time is 3 years. sorry!

@ahlam timou I think Mike explained well above. My 130 was approved 2years ago but 485 got stuck since then because of Visa Bulletin. Visa Bulletin is for 485 process.
