F2A Consular Process after I130 approval
My PD is Sep 6, 2022 and it hasn’t been approved yet. I hope it’s close!
I’m wondering what’s the process after that. How long does it take to get to a point where my partner can actually travel to the US?

hey, after your 130 is approved It usually takes 3-6 months

I'm thinking you should get approval in the coming weeks. case then moves to nvc where you will have to gather documents; taxes, criminal records then your partner will do a medical just before the interview and youll be all set. the longest part will be waiting for your interview date at the embassy

It's that after the approval of the I 130 it takes 1 month for you to go to NVC and then from there it could be as they say, 6 months to 1 year.
