we did not expedite but we did reach out to our senators a few days ago but honestly I don’t think it had anything to do with approval. My spouse is in Iran

@etude I used a lawyer but honestly it was waste of money as the forms and backup documents are pretty self explanatory and if you are good with paperwork, you could do it yourself. My lawyer was Malik & Papiel PC in NY. They did a great job. they also helped me with my own greencard
