My I-130 got approved! doesn’t seem like the I-485 will get approved until the date is current again.
Does anyone predict the final action date to become currently during the new Fiscal year for the USCSIS? or do you think it will take longer? #F2A

it doesn’t need to be current for AOS. that is for NVC processing. your’s AOS should be approved with in few days

@j l are you sure? it has been a couple weeks and my I-485 hasn’t got approved yet. my lawyer said I need to wait until the date is current OR the final action date is after Oct 2021 (which is my PD). where did you hear that it doesn’t affect AOS?

@NP marlin there is one guy whose AOS has been approved recently here in Houston field office with PD APR 2021 and it was F2a category. you can even read some posts by people whose lawer said them that the date in visa bulletin is final action date which doesn’t need to be your PD to get approved so it wont affect your AOS. where as you can see some people saying it affects and their case has been delayed. but i have seen whose case has been approved.

@j l @Sweet Vista honestly I have a feeling that they may have got approved internally inside the system before the final action changed in April and that is why they got notified of the approval now.
We can all just hope that the visa bulliten changes in Oct 2023 to become current again or Atleast starts to move!

i agree with you. AOS should also follow the final action date. mine is nov 2021 as well. hopefully visa bulletin will move in October. I heard theoretically the date of filing should be the final action date in 9-12months

@NP marlin Have you received any update on i485? today i found one person whose I130 and i485 approved together. i also got i130 approved today but waiting for i485 update.

@NP marlin looks like we need to wait long. i will request uscis to update my case from F2A to IR so that i dont need to wait long
