Is the country you live in one of the 75 countries?
Forever WaitingMar 14, 2026
@nasinka nasinka I am in the U.S. on a student visa, but I am from one of the 75 paused countries.

@Forever Waiting What kind of student visa did you get? Did you apply for an F2 A for your spouse or child?

Is it difficult to get a student visa?
Forever WaitingMar 17, 2026
@nasinka nasinka It is a regular F-1 student visa to go to college for the child. It can be complicated because you need to prove that the child has sufficient ties in the home country. We got lucky.

@Forever Waiting After going to the U.S. as a student, did you apply for the F2A category?”
