F2A, after RFE for medical, status changed.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to check if there’s anyone in a similar situation as mine. I submitted my RFE a few days ago, and today the status changed from “Actively Reviewed” to “Case is still being processed by USCIS.” Has anyone experienced this update recently? Any insights would be appreciated! ps. filed concurrent and I 130 was approved December in 2023.

That kind of status change is pretty common and not something to worry about. After USCIS receives an RFE response, the case often moves out of “actively reviewed” and back into a general “case is being processed” status while it goes through final review. It doesn’t reflect a problem or a setback. In your situation, with the I-130 already approved and medicals submitted, your case is likely in the final stage of adjudication. The next update could be approval, but timing can still vary. For now, there’s nothing you need to do. Just keep an eye on your account. This type of update usually means the case is moving forward, even if the wording feels less specific.
